FAQs

Can I visit the farm?

While this is a beautiful, working flower farm, it is also our family home, so we do not offer on-farm visits. We appreciate your understanding!

How can I get your flowers?

Our flowers are generally blooming from May through October. Right now we have pickup locations at The Union Market in Tuckerton and Sad Boyz in New Gretna, plus occasionally Little Bungalow in Surf City and Flourish Market in Philadelphia. While I would love to grow enough blooms to make the world go round, this is a one-woman operation. It’s so important to me to keep my kiddos front and center right now while they’re growing up, and I am constantly working on that balance. As a person who rests best when my hands are moving, the flower field is constantly beckoning to me! The best way to stay up to date on where are flowers are any given weekend is to sign up for our email list.

How do you grow your flowers?

Our flowers are 100% field grown and we are committed to growing unique, beautiful flowers without harming the soil or the creatures that live in our farm’s ecosystem. We use organic, regenerative growing practices and always keep the big picture in mind. Our children run through these fields, and we breathe in the glorious dirt while tending our blooms. You can be sure the flowers in your home are just the way nature intended.

Why buy local flowers?

Buying local flowers, much like buying local food, is a way of making a statement about how you want to live your life. By purchasing a bouquet from us, you are saying no to harsh chemicals, poor quality, exploitive labor practices, and carbon emissions from long distance shipping. Instead you are saying yes to creating a strong local community and economy, incredible freshness, unique and seasonal varieties and wildlife and pollinators.

How do I best care for my flowers?

Our flowers move quickly from our field to your vase and will generally last for many days (sometimes even weeks!), but there are still a few things you can to do to prolong their beauty:

  1. Keep the vase as clean as your teacup.

  2. Add the provided flower food. (A little each time you change the water.)

  3. Freshen up the water every 1-2 days.

  4. Trim 1/2” off your stems every 2-3 days.

  5. Avoid direct sunlight.

  6. Remove spent blooms so your longest lasting flowers have their time to shine!
