Bring the beauty of nature inside.

Our Story

It all began with a family bike ride on a Sunday afternoon. We glimpsed a beautiful old farm nestled among along the edge of the Wading River and felt beckoned. Though the property wasn’t for sale, a letter sent through old-fashioned snail mail connected us with the owners and an opportunity for purchase arose. We decided to take a “Leepa Faith” and move our family to this little piece of paradise.

We immediately felt a responsibility to sustain this beautiful land in harmony with Mother Nature, and what better way to do that than to grow flowers?! The name of our family farm not only speaks to the way in which we founded our business—that huge “Leepa Faith”—but also pays tribute to the Leepa family who first farmed this land over a century ago.

We believe every day should be graced with the beauty of nature. And fresh, seasonal flowers from a local farm make it easy to bring that beauty right into your home.

Picked for You

Our flowers are grown directly in the field, just the way Mother Nature intended. No chemical inputs, no plastic weed mat, just good, old-fashioned rain and sunshine!

We strive to be the best caretakers for the land and the animals, birds, and insects with whom we share it. Our farm operates on a closed loop: weeds and scraps go to our chickens, who turn them into fertilizer, which we then compost to apply back to our field. We focus on plastic reduction through our use of soil blocking to start seeds, compostable Kraft paper wrapping on our bouquets and no plastic weed mat in the fields. To protect our soil life, we pull weeds by hand and rely on beneficial insects to keep pests in check; we don’t use any synthetic fertilizers, chemicals or herbicides, thus increasing soil and microbe life. This makes healthier plants with roots that are better able to pull climate-effecting carbon down from the atmosphere through photosynthesis and store it in the soil. Also, by embracing a “limited tillage” philosophy, we help keep that atmospheric carbon that has been sequestered in the soil.

We love to incorporate native flowers and foliage, which not only give our bouquets a more natural look, but further helps our ecosystem. Additionally, our harvesting protocols ensure our flowers are never out of water, guaranteeing beautiful, long-lasting blooms.
